Frasier Meadows, Boulder’s premier upscale retirement community is looking for a talented and experienced full-time Cook! Catering, Senior Living/ Institutional Batch Cooking experience is desired.

Looking to fill the following schedule: 6am-2:30pm Thursday-Monday (Tuesday and Wednesday off)

Position Summary: As a Cook, you will prepare high-quality meals while adhering to dietary needs, safety standards, and our core values of fostering community, respect, and excellence.

Here is what you will need:

A minimum of one-year professional cooking experience, preferably in a health care setting

Catering, Senior Living/ Institutional Batch Cooking experience is desired

Ability to follow standardized recipes and verbal/ written adjustments to recipes

Understanding of different food cuisines and flavor profiles

Experience with high volume production is desired

Excellent customer service skills essential

Must be able to speak, read and write the English language

Must have high school education or equivalent

Must have ability to work independently, making sound decisions

Here is what you will do:

Prepares menu items within allotted time period using appropriate standardized recipes.

Assures optimal quality, temperature and appearance of meals.

Adheres to special diet needs and is knowledgeable of allergen information.

Adheres to food safety and workplace safety standards, policies and procedures as regulated by department.

Ensures proper sanitation of kitchen and equipment following department standards, policies and procedures. Exercises proper use of all equipment.

Follows uniform guidelines.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $19.80-22.74 per hour.

Full-Time (32+ hours/week) Team Members are eligible for all benefits listed below.
